Tinker Visiting Professor
Nuria Alkorta is a founding member and Director of the Delabarca Theatre Company, and a professor in the Royal School for Dramatic Arts (RESAD) in Madrid since 1999. She received her Doctorate in Philology through the National University of Distance Education (UNED) and her Bachelor’s in Acting through the Royal School for Dramatic Arts in Madrid (RESAD) and in Geography/History through the Complutense University of Madrid. She attended Harvard University to complete higher studies in theatre direction in the American Repertory Theatre (ART) – Institute for Advanced Theatre Training.
During the semester, she will teach a class on theatre production as well as stage Los Empeños de una Casa by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
