Xch’ool Ixim will develop a Q’eqchi’ Maya curriculum for schools in the Nimlah’akok region of Cobán, Guatemala to improve foundational learning. The project will include training workshops and consultation sessions with teachers, parents, and community leaders. Xch’ool Ixim will design and test instructional materials such as textbooks and guides incorporating Q’eqchi’ traditions, legends, and rituals to promote cultural identity and improve learning outcomes.
