Enseña Perú will select and train current public schoolteachers and involve local education authorities in the Amazonas department in Peru in providing a high-intensity after-school program for primary and secondary school students. By incorporating technical pedagogical staff in the training and including educational authorities in the design and execution of the project, the methodologies to improve educational recovery and socio-emotional learning will have the potential to reach many more teachers in the region.
