Motete promotes literacy and cultural education in the department of Chocó. With prior support from Tinker, Motete adapted its “Selva de Letras” program to the pandemic context producing culturally relevant teaching modules and reading materials that could be used in hybrid learning contexts. With additional funding, Motete will continue to accompany students and teachers during the return-to-school period and expand activities to an additional school, reaching approximately 1,400 preschool and primary grade students.
