Asociación por los Derechos Civiles (ADC) will conduct a two-part project focused on improving the federal judicial selection process in Argentina. In the first phase, ADC will examine recent selection processes considering candidate qualifications, equity, and the overall efficiency and independence of the process. In particular, ADC will assess the degree to which judicial selection takes into account a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of key aspects of technology and digital life, which play an ever-greater role in the administration of justice in Argentina. In a second phase, ADC will develop and implement training for justice sector actors on related topics. This project builds on ADC’s previous work in this area and its expertise on issues related to the intersection of technology, justice, and rights.
