Corporación Enseña por Colombia (EpC), a member of the Teach For All network, seeks to improve educational quality in Colombia with programs focused on teacher recruitment, pedagogy, and leadership development. Through its teacher program, EpC has trained over 300 teachers that work in over 60 public schools, primarily located in the Caribbean and Pacific regions. Responding to the challenges created by the pandemic including dropout and learning loss, EpC has been actively developing distance education initiatives such as radio programming (A Prender La Onda), learning guides, teacher training, and remedial education courses for students. Through this project, EpC will strengthen its various initiatives and adapt them to a hybrid model of education where students alternate between in-person and virtual classes. With Tinker funding, EpC will directly impact at least 85 teachers, 20 schools, and 25,000 students.
