Researchers from MPI and CIDE will examine areas where there is strong potential for regional policy innovation, but where further work is needed to confirm the interests and priorities of policymakers and other relevant actors and to test viable paths going forward. This effort will emphasize ensuring the recognition and protection of the rights of migrants, as well as the involvement of civil society in policy discussions.
