The IRC team in Colombia will work to increase educational coverage of out-of-school Venezuelan youth in Colombia and improve the social-emotional skills of all enrolled students, Venezuelan and Colombian. IRC will partner with UNICEF and the Colombian government to design, open, and operate two “learning circles” in migrant communities that serve as a first educational space for out-of-school children. In addition, IRC will provide training for a larger group of public school teachers in social-emotional learning and mindfulness methodologies.
